Software Developer Dinerware/Heartland Payment systems

Apr 2014 – November 2016

Dinerware is a point of sale software company for medium sized restaurants. Dinerware was acquired by Heartland Payment Systems (and later Global Payments) which is a payment processing company. My role was to write payment processing code in the backend. I spent a large part of my time implementing EMV (Euro, Mastercard, Visa, aka Chip and Pin).

I used a variety of languages, frameworks and libraries at Dinerware. VB .Net, C# .Net, MS SQL, Javascript, React, Asp .Net and Sencha.

Software Developer Westmark Industries

Dec 2011 – Dec 2013

Westmark Industries (Software Department) is a company that provides custom software solutions for customers in primarily production environments. They write software that tracks employees, runs production lines, labels products and tracks inventory. I was hired to work on the next generation of their internal development libraries.

The languages used were C#, Html, Javascript, PHP, C and C++.

Software Developer / Owner Fiziksphreak Mobilesoft

Fiziksphreak Mobilesoft was my attempt to start my own Android software company (with no money). I wrote one app that was published and had about 50,000 downloads.

The languages used were Java (Android) and OpenGL.

mar 2008 – sept 2010

The position was working in a Nanotech Research Laboratory. I wrote custom code to process data, run calculations, automate equipment and build test cases.

The languages used varied. Python, C#.net, C/C++ and Basic (some equipment only worked with Basic).
